Thanks to the amazing Tori of Desperate Housewives Online we have been able to add screencaptures from Emma’s superhit movie and breakout preformace as Julie in Superbad. Emma is so freaking cute in this movie and over 160 images has been added from the movie. A review from Variety has been added below aswell as preview images.
The bawdy jokes score big points, but it’s the rueful acknowledgement of adolescent embarrassment and humiliation that most distinguishes “Superbad,” another ultra-raunchy and commercial sex comedy from the Judd Apatow laugh factory. Co-written by and featuring “Knocked Up” star Seth Rogen, this very cheesy-looking account of three horndogs’ long night’s journey into hazy self-awareness is like “American Pie” with a conscience. Fixation on all manner of bodily functions and a plethora of outrageously out-there gags guarantee strong teen and date-night turnout, although demos will skew younger than for “Knocked Up” and “The 40-Year-Old Virgin.” Pic will never die as a high school and frathouse keg-party favorite.
Although this picaresque little odyssey is decidedly set in the present day, the title, silhouetted opening credits and predominantly funk-soul soundtrack provide a distinctly ’70s feel, an impression furthered by a muddy, fuzzy visual style (perhaps partly attributable to nocturnal digital shooting) that harks back to the day when AIP and Crown Intl. were knocking out their own teensploitationers. I’ve recently gotten my hand on a Zombieland DVD avd have been able to cap both the movie itself and the DVD extra material, aswell as adding two differente trailers. I enjoyed the movie and Emma was so cute in the whole film. Over 1500 images has been added two the gallery and you can read a review from Bloody Disgusting below.
Limber up, it’s one of the rules if you’re going to survive Zombieland, and not pull a muscle from laughing so hard. While Columbia Pictures’ film might revolve around the undead, what awaits you is an action-comedy that could easily be described as Shaun of the Dead meets Superbad, or for comic book fans, think “The Walking Dead” with laughs.
In the screenplay by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, the world is now overrun by zombies, and Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg from Adventureland) is in search of his family when is comes across Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson), who is headed in the same direction. When making a pit stop at a grocery store, they’re conned by two young girls, Wichita (Emma Stone from Superbad) and Little Rock (Abigail Breslin from Little Miss Sunshine), whom eventually join them in their trip west. “Zombieland” stars Emma Stone and Woody Harrleson have both signed on to the cast of the upcoming romantic comedy “Friends With Benefits.” Will Gluck, who directed Stone in “Easy A,” will direct the romantic comedy for Screen Gems.
Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis star in the film as friends who have just seen their respective relationships ended in horrific fashion. Stone and Harrelson join a cast that already includes Patricia Clarkson, Richard Jenkins, Jenna Elfman, and Andy Samberg. New York Yankee third baseman Alex Rodriguez is also in negotiations to make his film debut in the movie, though it is not known if he will appear as himself or another character. Filming on the project begins next month in and around New York.
Stone and Harrelson recently starred together in the surprising hit film “Zombieland.” It is unknown at this time what roles the two actors will fill in the cast.
